Dear Fellow Saints,
We, the members of Truth Baptist Church, are excited about the opportunity to host the fall regional Independent Baptist Fellowship Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. The dates of this conference will be September 14-15, 2010. For months now, we have been praying and seeking God’s direction for these meetings. Our prayer has been that the fellowship will be sweet, every message personally challenging and God’s presence felt. We encourage you to take time out of your busy schedules to attend this meeting. Enclosed, you will find a list of recommended hotels in the area. We encourage you to also check the prices of these hotels on the internet for the lowest possible price. If finances are an issue, please contact us directly to see if any families can accommodate you in their homes. The theme for this conference is “The Lord Stood With Me” taken from II Timothy 4:17. In context, the Apostle Paul new the time of his departure was at hand and was sharing some final thoughts with Timothy. As Paul spoke of his defense at his trial, no man stood with him, but the Lord did. In the days and times that we live in, it sure is reassuring to know that God will stand with us, even when it seems that we must stand alone.
