When I first found out that I had received a scholarship to help pay for my freshman year of college I was so excited and thankful. I had just been praying about my finances for school. Receiving the Veronica Robinson Scholarship helped me to see even more that God wanted me to be at Landmark Baptist College. The Veronica Robinson scholarship helped me pay for all my college fees and more. I am so thankful that God led me to Landmark Baptist College and he blessed me to finish my four year degree in Elementary Education. I learned so very much and am very thankful that the Veronica Robinson Scholarship helped kick start my college career.

Having been a recipient of the Veronica Robinson Scholarship back in June of 2003 helped me in three areas.

1- It served to be a strong pull for me in choosing to attend Bible College when my heart and mind were still undecided about the decision.

2- It greatly relieved much of the financial stress included with being a first time college student.

3- When I thought about quitting (which was often) the remembrance of the scholarship and sacrifices made by those who contributed to it would motivate me to press on.
