Welcome to the Independent Baptist Fellowship's Website.

The Independent Baptist Fellowship is first and foremost exactly as the name denotes, a fellowship of Independent Baptists. Therefore, the Independent Baptist Fellowship has a threefold purpose:

1. WE EXIST TO PROMOTE fellowship among Independent Fundamental Baptists throughout our nation and abroad. ( I Jn. 1:3,7; I Thess.5:11; Amos 3:3; Psa. 55:14)

2. WE EXIST TO ENCOURAGE Christians in small ministries as well as large, to take a stand for the cause of Christ. This includes separating from worldliness, liberalism and ecumenicism. ( II Cor. 6:14-18; Rom. 16:17; II Thess. 3:6,14; II Tim. 3:5; II Jn.10-11)

3. WE EXIST TO PREACH the fundamental doctrines of the faith and encourage soul winning and discipleship. ( Matt. 28:18-20; Mk. 16:15)

Regional IBF Meeting

Dear Fellow Saints, We, the members of Truth Baptist Church, are excited about the opportunity to host the fall regional Independent Baptist Fellowship Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. The dates of this conference will be September 14-15, 2010. For months now, we have been praying and seeking God’s direction for these meetings. Our prayer has been that the fellowship will be sweet, every message personally challenging and God’s presence felt. We encourage you to take time out of your busy schedules to attend this meeting. Enclosed, you will find a list of recommended hotels in the area. We encourage you to also check the prices of these hotels on the internet for the lowest possible price. If finances are an issue, please contact us directly to see if any families can accommodate you in their homes. The theme for this conference is “The Lord Stood With Me” taken from II Timothy 4:17. In context, the Apostle Paul new the time of his departure was at hand and was sharing some final thoughts with Timothy. As Paul spoke of his defense at his trial, no man stood with him, but the Lord did. In the days and times that we live in, it sure is reassuring to know that God will stand with us, even when it seems that we must stand alone. The regional meetings are very simular to the annual meetings, but just on a smaller scale. Because the annual meetings are so well attended, we must ensure that the church hosting the annual meeting can meet the seating requirement needs.
